What are your shipping costs? Unless a special “free” postage offer is made, the shipping costs are close to the actual cost of the packing and postage and are listed with each individual spoon. Orders for more than one spoon, sent in the same package, have only one shipping charge applied to the order.

How do you pack the spoons? We pack the spoons to take account of most rough treatment in the postal system. Spoons are wrapped in acid free tissue paper and then they are either boxed, postal tube or put in a white “Jiffy” bag to give a bubble protection which is sealed and stapled. The label is hand-written and the customs declaration states “gift”

What about customs and import duty? We are obliged to apply a Customs Declaration on any package that is sent outside of the European Union. We do our best to ensure that your customs service remain uninterested in your package but in these times of increased security, we cannot be certain that your package will not be inspected and should your customs service judge the spoon to be of high value, then you may have to pay an import duty, which is your responsibility - but to date, with hundreds of packages sent, this has not happened. The label is hand-written and the customs declaration states “gift” If this concerns you, please e-mail us and we can describe our arrangements in more detail.

Can I personalise my love spoon? Certain Wedding Favors can be personalised with either a name, two initials or a date. However, the addition of names or initials to an existing design often alters the look of a spoon quite dramatically and we do not offer to do this with our existing range.
We do however offer a card with each order. This is a A4/Letter size folded card with a picture of a love spoon on the front, descriptions of the symbols on the left inside leaf with the right side blank where we will be happy to print a message from you. We will also print small cards, approximately 3 x 1.5 inches (76 x 38 mm) if required. We can also add a small picture from you if one is sent to us. For the above option, please e-mail us at Spoons@CymruTed.com

Just contact us with the details. We do ask that you return the spoon to help us see what the problem is and change our packaging if necessary.
